This is based purely on service because after waiting 15 minutes in line, we decided to just go across the street to Taco Bell. Would've preferred pollo tropical on a Sunday at 7:30, but it took us 15 min to get to the front of the line (and when we started waiting in line there were only 3 people in front of us) and when we got to the front, the cashier had to go start making food because the cook people were so slow there was an enormous crowd of backed up orders. So we waited a bit more but since no one wanted to take our order and we had a movie to get to; we left. Disappointed in this pollo tropical

Light grilled chicken meal offered low calories for a good price! It's pretty hard to find a healthy option out there and hey delivered. I had to wipe the table for myself but outside of that I would recommend.

Waited in the drive thru lane for at least 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. We drove away and will definitely not return.

Lousy service. Food quality is okay. The whole restaurant feels dirty (bathrooms, slight smell coming from garbage areas, etc.) Which is all a shame, because I've never considered Pollo Tropical to really be a "fast food" joint. But, the way they're going I feel like I can get better service at a Checkers.

This is the worst place you can possibly go for food. The people they have working the drive thru have the IQ of a insect and sometimes do not even understand the simplest requests. When you order a large black bean you actually get 10% beans and 90% liquid. They are always out of ribs and lately have been out of chicken. How does this happen at a chicken restaurant? I will drive the extra 10 minutes to get to the new restaurant in greenacres. They do not even deserve the one star but it made me do it in order to post this review.

The employees at this location are the worst. They are very rude. Never give you the sauces you ask for.

Chicken was good. Ribs where dry. Rice was old. They didn't have certain foods since they had runout. Friendly staff. And clean location.

This place is great always great service great flavor and good prices. Both dining in and carry out. The chicken, ribs, wings and pork are all great. The mango ice tea is great to. I highly recommend a visit here. And they're open late every night and don't rush you out it when you come in at the last minute.

Well, I guess I am with the majority. The service has slipped a lot as the wait time has increased dramatically, it might be due to new management every few months or short staff, I have no idea. As far as the quality, I have gotten the chick sandwich or the Tropi Chop for the last 10 years. It has slipped a bit in terms of quality and portion size, but still pretty good overall. I would say the size of the Chicken Sandwich is smaller as well as the amount of Chicken in the Tropi Chop has decreased. It still should not take 15-20 minutes to get food when the restaurant is not that busy. Also, what happened to the ice tea, it was not there last visit, did Pollo get rid of the Two Ice Tea Options and the Tea option at the drink dispenser was gone too. Not everybody drinks soda as its very unhealthy. Also, the floors at all these restaurants appears to be greasy, its at all Pollo Tropicals, it feels weird walking and slipping at the same time. I will return and continue to get my chop as long as everything does not get worse as it tolerable at the moment and the Chicken is still tasty.

What the hell happened to Pollo? This place used to be my go-to even when I was still living in Broward as youngin'. Now I go back and it further and further deteriorates. Worse staff, unsanitary conditions, and worse of all the food. Got my usual quarter chicken value meal and couldn't believe what I got. Had pink ad blood near the bone, stale rice, and a piece of bread that was hard as a brick. Sorry but this place is not even in competition with La Granja. Hate that it went down so much but I guess everything comes to an end (like the House Stark lol). Sorry but I think we should all take our talents to La Granja.

I agree with the other reviewer, this place has seriously gone downhill. I stopped by a few nights ago and got a chipotle chicken sandwich with fries and a Pepsi and for my friend, 2 chicken quesadilla wraps. The fries were hard as a rock, the sandwich was lukewarm at best and the quesadilla wraps were cold, like they were in the refrigerator and no one could be bothered to heat them. The tortillas they were wrapped in we're like cardboard.... Waste of time and money, most of the food went in the garbage. I won't be eating at Pollo Tropical anymore.
